In 1997, the company's Vice President of Construction, Ed McGuire, became a founding member of the educational committee on Tilt-up Construction Certification. The committee's Tilt-up Supervisor Certification Program now provides training, testing and certification for qualified site supervisors around the country. As architects and builders become more educated on tilt-up construction, the organizations believe this certification will become a required qualification in many projects' specifications.
